It Could Get Loud
With apologies to Jack White, the Edge and Jimmy Page, I think we're going to get louder.

a_phoenixdragon , andljgeoff , as we sit in my livingroom, preparing to go to Wiscon.
My beloved has told me that I must go - and the chance to interact with these remarkable women is going to be a breath of fresh air, a drink of cold water, a needed spot of spiritual nutrition, in the middle of a 2013 that can go the fuck away right now.
With any luck, we'll all be posting from Madison.
Oh, my goodness, this should be interesting!

Exhaustion, Thy Name Is Nicky's Apartment
But we did get a great deal bagged up, all the dressers emptied, some bags taken to the Sally Ann ... and an unsuccessful attempt to take Nick's apartment sized freezer down his incredibly awkward and dangerous backstairs. We had a refrigerator dolly, and our wonderful "daughter" Sarah (FB's non-crazy ex and the most wonderful girl in the world) was helping Bob and Andy, but Andy, who has a lot of experience moving heavy stuff, immediately said, "no, pull it back up" after they'd barely started. "It'll crush our heads." So we'll have to get a pro to move it down and into our place.
